Mohamed Mamdouh Abdel Aziz, 13, died days after he was arrested and tortured by police for four days, as he was detained on suspicion of having stolen four packs of tea!. On the fifth day, after his wounds reached a deadly state out of negligence, he was thrown away, and people find him spending the whole night lying unconscious at a parking lot and they brought him home.

Mohamed identified and named the two policemen, who had beaten him up and tortured him with electrocution, despite that, high-ranking local officials and policemen tried to bribe his mother and other times to threaten here so as not to file a complaint, they offered the mother 1,000 Egyptian pounds (about 175 dollars).

Furthermore, the Interior Ministry said in a statement that claims of that the child had been subjected to torture was mere allegations.

A video of him being tortured by Egyptian police was captured on a mobile phone and is being used by activists to press for reforms within the justice system. The video, which soared across the Egyptian blogosphere in August, allegedly showed the boy hours before he died from his injuries, and not long after he was released by police in the town of Mansoura, 75 miles north of Cairo; local media reported he had been arrested for stealing a few bags of tea a week earlier.

محمد ممدوح طفل "12" عاما اتهم فى سرقة "باكو شاي" تم اقتياده لمركز شرطة مركز المنصورة من قرية "شها" وصل إلى المركز فتم استقباله كالعادة سليما معافى ثم خرج قتيلا مسموما معذبا، ولكن قد تتوه الأحداث فهو طفل لأسرة فقيرة جدا معدومة حتى اجتماعيا دخل سلخانة مركز شرطة مركز المنصورة هو القسم نفسه الذى استقبل قتيل "تلبانة" أو حادثة الأسبوع جريمة ربما هى الأكثر عنفا ومهانة.
جريمة معلقة فى جبين جهاز الشرطة.
يقول حمدى الباز محامى أسرة الطفل محمد ممدوح: سبق أن تقدمت بشكوى ضد ضباط مباحث مركز المنصورة بشأن واقعة تعذيب الطفل محمد ممدوح البالغ من العمر 12 عاما، حيث ألقى القبض عليه يوم 26/7/2007 وتم حجزه فى قسم شرطة مركز المنصورة حتى 1/8/2007 تدهورت صحته بشكل كبير فتم نقله إلى المستشفى العام الدولى لتلقى علاجه بعدها بأربعة أيام فقط كان الطفل يتم عرضه على محكمة مركز المنصورة التى أصدرت حكمها بإخلاء سبيل الطفل لعدم الاختصاص حيث كونه "حدثا" 12 عاما، ثم عادوا به إلى المستشفى لتلقى العلاج ولكن الغريب فى الأمر أنه خرج من المستشفى إلى حجز قسم شرطة مركز المنصورة وهو فى حالة إعياء شديد، تم تركيب قسطرة ومحاليل ولم يكن له مكان فى الحجز فترك فى طرقات القسم دون رعاية حتى تعفنت أجزاء كثيرة من جسده.
ووجد فى حالة إعياء شديد فى موقف الدراسات أمام سيارات سرفيس "شها" مسقط رأس الطفل، بعض المواطنين تطوعوا وقاموا بتوصيله إلى منزل أسرته ساعات قليلة ولفظ محمد أنفاسه الأخيرة أمام والدته وأخوته، ولكن تساءلوا: ماذا حدث.
ومن المسئول عن هذه الجريمة؟.
الأحداث تتلاحق وينكشف المستور، حيث قام مستشفى الصدر بالمنصورة بعمل عملية جراحية دون إذن من أسرته وتم تركيب قسطرة داخل صدر الطفل وتم إيداعه داخل محبسه بعد العملية الجراحية فى أماكن قذرة غير صحية دون رعاية.
أدت إلى وفاته فتم تحرير محضر رقم 8016 لسنة 2007 إدارى مركز المنصورة.
