Center for Knowledge Society Events organized 6 training workshops between November 07 and January 08 for informal settlement dwellers in Cairo and Banha
The Center for Knowledge Society Events has organized a series of workshops for informal settlement dwellers. Each workshop had approximately 10-12 participants with a majority of women and girls. The training was designed to introduce them to the Internet, using email and conducting searches using a search engine. Each workshop was two days and was organized by the Center's Program Officer Doaa Hassan. The workshops took place in Manshiet Nasser and El Waili in Cairo, and also in Banha outside of Cairo. They were organized in collaboration with local nonprofit organizations - Begaya organization in Manshiet Nasser, Al Shehab in Ezbet al Haggana in Manshiet Nasser, and Community Serivcxe in el Waili.
قام مركز مجتمع المعرفة بتنظيم 6 ورش عمل ما بين نوفمبر 07 ويناير 08 فى القاهرة وبنها فى مناظث عشوائية. الورش هى بالأساس لتعليم مبادىء الإنترنت مثل البريد الإلكترونى وطرق البحث على الإنترنت إلخ. قامت بالتدريب السيدة دعاء حسن منسقة البرامج بالمركز وكانت الورش مقامة بالتعاون مع منظمات مجتمع مدنى محلية
